Infoterra France merges with Spot Image

Astrium Services subsidiaries Spot Image and Infoterra France merged on 3 May 2010.

Our complementary skills, working closely with our partner networks, will enable us to offer an even more integrated range of products and services, spanning the entire geospatial information value chain from satellite operation to provision of high-added-value services and distribution of imagery products.

The merger of the two French entities ties into an ongoing process of operational integration of all European subsidiaries in Astrium Services’ GeoInformation division, designed to boost our innovation and development capabilities and better serve users’ requirements.

The newly merged entity will retain the name Spot Image and is 99% owned by Astrium.
