Infoterra France heavily invests in R&D and is extremely active in major national and European geo-information programmes. Our rich experience in remote sensing data and land cover analysis has helped develop many services now within your reach.
Precision Farming
Since 2001, FARMSTAR has provided farmers with a series of recommendations throughout the crucial growing season, that help to monitor their crops at the parcel level. This service is based on a unique process combining satellite imagery, agronomic models and meteorological data.
FARMSTAR is used in France by more than 10,000 farmers (about 40 000 ha), and is rapidly expanding with users in the United-Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, and more.

LPIS / EU CAP Control
Infoterra France possesses a large capacity to process photogrammetric and satellite imagery and a long experience in acquiring aerial data. Year after year, we deliver accurate orthophotos in swift turnaround times, which is crucial for national agencies in charge of the control of EU Common Agricultural Policy area-based subsidies.
In addition to providing the French government with such services, Infoterra France works in close collaboration with Infoterra Ltd, its UK-based sister company, to build and update national orthophoto coverage and complete Land Parcel information Systems (LPIS) throughout Europe.
