Biophysical parameters, a new-generation land cover analysis tool.

Infoterra France has evolved methods to automatically extract biophysical parameters from a wide range of multi- & super spectral images and models - such as yield prediction models and irrigation models, which are needed to create highly added-value information products designed to fulfil end-users needs. Overland is the software package developed by Infoterra France and designed to derive biophysical parameters from a wide range of space borne and airborne sensors.

Biophysical parameters give direct information on the physical properties of vegetation, water, soil, and atmosphere, and provide new interpretation keys for experts such as agronomists, agriculture and forest managers or more generally experts dealing with land cover and land use.
