Infoterra France has developed a range of mapping services

Infoterra France, PREVIEW project coordinator, announces promising first phase results for this 45 month programme. In the frame of GMES programme, PREVIEW aims to improve, enhance and develop mapping services, based on satellite monitoring and other observation techniques, for risk management users to manage natural and man-made disasters.

Infoterra France has become the trusted leading supplier of digital cartographic databases and advanced geo-information services across the globe building on years of: research in remote sensing and high resolution image processing experience in collecting and processing mapping services from multiple geographic information sources (digitised maps, satellite images and aerial data). Infoterra’s mapping services includes customized, modular, scalable layers that can be either ordered separately or as a packaged solution.

An important effort will be devoted to helping customers develop business from products or mapping services derived from their Infoterra systems, in particular the Pixel FactoryTM, an industrialised processing suite that produces advanced 3D mapping products of unparalleled quality.
