Each range of mapping data is classified according to its coverage and resolution:

REGION VIEW

100 to 50m resolution.
Coverage: large regional area to countrywide.
Data source: satellite imagery and topographic maps.
Excellent support tool for wireless network development, from
dimensioning and pre-design to spectrum management, and for
commercial proposals based on realistic estimates.
Layers available: Digital Terrain Model, Land Use Maps/Clutter & Linear
Features and Orthoimage.


URBAN VIEW

20 to 10m resolution .
Coverage: large urban and suburban: 20x20, 30x30, 40x40 km or larger.
Data source: high-resolution satellite imagery and topographic maps.
Designed for macro-cell network design, implementation and expansion, RF planning, propagation analysis, drive testing and site acquisition.
Layers available: Digital Terrain Model, Land Use Maps/Clutter & Linear
Features and Orthoimage.


CITY VIEW

5m to 0.25m resolution.
Coverage: detailed view of urban areas and city centres.
Data source: very high resolution spatial imagery (IKONOS, Quickbird,
SPOT5...) and digital or analogue aerial imagery.
Ideal for micro-cellular network optimization.
Layers available: Digital Terrain Model, Land Use Maps/Clutter & Linear
Features, Orthoimage and Building Height Models.
