Ultracam

Infoterra develops its own ultracam a revolutionary system to automatically process data acquired by a multiple choice of sensors, offering you the best of both worlds in aerial or satellite imagery.

Over the years, Infoterra has applied its technological know-how to a wide range of geographic data sources, including the use of ultracam, satellite images, and aerial data. We have processed over 4000 satellite images, and our databases cover 25,000,000 km² produced from digital aerial data, using push technology.

Infoterra has already processed over than 5000 satellite images and more than 250,000km² of digital aerial data. A multi-source support available from local to national coverage, and adjusted to your needs: with nearly 20 years’ experience in data collection and a worldwide network of partners and suppliers, Infoterra France can identify among the many satellite & aerial imagery sources with ultracam, which data is best suited to your sector of industry and specific project.

Infoterra uses state-of-the-art ultracam, including our own ADS-40 (linear scanner produced by Leica Geosystems), digital frame sensors such as the UltraCamD and DMC, as well as analogue cameras. From the initial flight plan design to the actual airborne survey, our team can manage the whole data acquisition process including flight authorisations, ground control points collection, data transfer and all other technical aspects.
